A perfect day

Yesterday we had a welcomed visit from our friends from home, Nicholas and Magdalena and their adorable girls, Vendela, Vanessa and Victoria. The kids had a perfect day and so did we!

The Beach

The kids and I decided to spend a couple of hours at our little beach in the neighbourhood, we brought books and hoped for a nice time. Well, Otto decided he wasn´t in the mood for being at the beach so he started out with his first mantra: I want to go home, I want to go home, I want to go home... etc Then after a bit of sandthrowing (which he knows is absolutely forbidden at the beach) he continued with his second mantra; I want icecream, I want icecream, I want icecream...
With my body covered in sand I fell for the temptation to get him quiet and gave him money to buy some icecream. AND he went quiet in a second!
What can I say, He is child nr 3...

After finishing his icecream suddenly a I heard: I want to go home, I want to go home, I want to go home...and didin´t stop until we packed up and left the beach to GO HOME.

Birthday part 3

Otto wanted chinese for his birthdaydinner so off we went to our newfound favourite chineserestaurant!

After dinner Otto was very busy trying his new scooter!

 You´re not supposed to keep your dog by the neck here, so we got a new outfit for Vera!

 We found Ottilia up in a tree, funny girl!

After dinner and walks we had coffe and icecream, Otto told us: -"my best day"

Birthday part 2

 Our table has the same look for every birthday in the family! I bought the tablecloth in London before we had any kids wishing I one day could use it for my own baby. Ooops, suddenly 3 there was!!!

 Otto wanted an icecream-and-candycake for his birthday.

Birthday morning

Getting ready

Today we have a very happy 5-yearold in the house, early in the morning you could see us sneak up from our beds and preparing for the tradionally singing and breakfast in bed. We had wrapped all the present in silver for him to look as Star Wars presents...( He´s a huge fan of Luke Skywalker etc..)

Saturday

After a nice lunch at the beach together with friends we decided on moving slowly during the rest of the day, actually not moving much at all. The chairs at the terrace were so comfy...

The kids were active as always...what did they do before we had a swimmingpool?

Skype with Lollo was the highlight of the day!

  A nice celebration at the beach and then when we arrived home everbody except me took a nightswim in the pool! We finished the day with strawberries and sandwiches, the best meal ever I heard someone say!!!
